"Stop Dressing Your Six Year Old Like a Skank"

What a great title for a book.

I'm glad Izzy is only 2, and I can guarantee she wont be dressing like a skank when she lives at my house.  My older kids all roll their eyes at me when I tell them that they shouldn't be in a big hurry to grow up, but I keep saying it anyway.

I fight that fight everyday.  Sometimes L, my 12 year old, comes in to show me an outfit and flip out.  (trust me when I say that is never a good thing) I wonder what is going on in her head that gives her the impression that her outfit would be anything but bad.

I agree, growig up is a scam.

We call it "hoochie mama" at my house...and my girl knows what it means!  There will be NO hoochie mama clothes here...not as long as I'm livin', anyway.
